well hello all. it has been a very long time since i was on dev and i decided to write a journal (perhaps my last due to facebook taking priority over dev..) and i feel like this is going to b a rather long one...
so nutcracker is over and it was really good. but durring the begining of nutcracker (around september prob) i started having pain in my ankle. i thought it was tendonitis, but i was working thru it..but more about that later
i went to hawaii with my fam for Christmas break and it was awesome. it was beautiful and warm and stuff. i went to the beach almost every day. got a nice tan, but its gone now. so in hawaii my bro turned 21 and was all excited. and one night he wanted me to go to a restaraunt with him so he could go drink and such, so i told him i would only go if he let me try his drinks. hehe. so he got a mojito and i took literally one sip. like 5 min later im coughing my brain out and i lose my voice totaly and my stomach feels weird and my pulse is all funny. so we leave and i just thought it was this cold ive had for a long time. but it got worse and worse and i went to take out my contacts and my face was all swollen and i had fish lips and sausage fingers and everything. it was insane. so i woke my dad up and he got me stuff and i lived and everything. but i didnt tell my parents about the mojito (which was the only weird thing i had that day) so i thought i was allergic to alcohol. since then ive been getting random reactions that r similar. and i think its from fresh herbs.. random right? but theres crushed mint leaves in mojitos and there was fresh parsley in one thing i got a reaction to. my doctor apt is next week, but till them im afraid of food...
our spring ballet this year is sleeping beauty and the cast list came out a while ago and im the lilac fairy (o so excited. best part i could have gotten!) but since my ankle had still been hurting my teacher told me to rest it and stuff and go to the doctor. but the doc i was supposed to see was booked until a couple days ago (monday) so i went to the doc and i expect him to b like u have tendonitis u cant dance (of course i would anyway) but he had an xray and was like "u have a stress fracture in ur heel and u r going to have to b in a boot from probably 6-8 weeks" i freaked out. i was so increadibly upset. so i get the boot and the next day i have an MRI at 7 AM (UGH) and then yesterday i had the follow up on the MRI and the doc said that the fracture is really old (prob from september) and so its too late for the bones to heal back together, so they will just b in there fractured for the rest of my life. but he said that the tissue around the bone is all inflamed and irritated, so i still need to wear the boot. and he gave me anti inflamitories and physical therapy 2 times a week and all that jazz. so if all goes well i will b out of the boot in 2 weeks. it will take a little to work my way back into ballet, but it will b a lot faster than 6-8 weeks. BUT i took the anti inflamitory last night and had a crazy allergic reaction to it. my lips were beyond angelina jolie... no joke. it took me 5 min to apply chapstick. so we'll see how all that goes.
theres other stuff that happened and is happening but this journal is long enough already. ill post a couple pics from hawaii...well farewell all! (maybe)
